Accessibility

We want statiedelen.nl to be usable by everyone, including people with a disability. We aim for the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, level AA.
What we do for this
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmarks;
- Text contrast that meets level AA;
- Full keyboard operability, with visible focus;
- A "skip to content" link on every page;
- Respect for the reduced motion system setting (animations are then disabled);
- The website works entirely without JavaScript;
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are skipped by assistive software.
Known limitations
There are currently no known accessibility issues. The website has been tested manually with keyboard navigation and with automated checks; a formal external accessibility audit has not yet taken place.
