What is a deposit worth?
In the Netherlands nearly all plastic bottles and cans carry a deposit (statiegeld). This is what each one returns:
- € 0.15
- Small plastic bottle (< 1 litre)
- € 0.25
- Large plastic bottle (≥ 1 litre)
- € 0.15
- Can
- € 0.10
- Glass beer bottle
Look for the statiegeld logo on the label to recognise deposit packaging.
